I found Mr.Ken’s website when doing a search on grab bar installation and found his company Texas Senior Safety.
A recent fall at the house had me using a walker and I couldn’t go back to work for almost two weeks.
This last fall prompted me to get grab bars in the bathroom because I felt that I needed them as I was going to safely age in this home.
As, Mr. Ken, the owner of this company, had pointed out, installing grab bars does add value to your home.
It is an important investment especially if you value your quality of life and loved ones.
Mr. Ken is a licensed RN Mobility Contractor and he will answer any of your concerns.
The quality of the the work will speak for itself.
I was hesitant to put it off and I am happy and satisfied with my decision before I had a tragic or life changing situation.
Mr. Blake who came to install my grab bars was on time, knowledgeable, polite, friendly, professional & was happy to answer any questions that I had and we worked together when installing the grab bars.
Mr. Blake installed 3 grab bars in my tiled shower and one grab bar installed in the toilet room.
I will definitely call and ask for Mr. Blake again for other jobs.
Just take a moment to think of the material items we purchase without a thought as to would it improve my quantity and especially quality of life.

Like a lot of Californians, I recently retired, sold my home, and moved to New Braunfels, TX.  I have family here, so I joined them, bought a newly constructed home, and put down new roots.  There were a few projects I wanted to complete before moving in.  Being 66 y/o and no longer as steady on my feet as I once was, I thought bathroom grab bars are a necessity.  Somehow, I found Texas Senior Safety with a websearch and it was obvious to me that Ken had the skillset I was looking for.  I've found a handyman for painting, fence work, mounting ceiling fans, but I hate to say that I didn't quite trust him to securely mount grab rails.  Ken came out and assessed my home needs and set about to work.  He was not cheap, but neither is his work.  It is really beautiful and solid.  I weigh 275 pounds and have no doubt these grab rails will help me for the remainder of my life.  I will also be proud to show off Ken's handiwork and to tell my friends what I paid.  Because to my mind, Ken's price was absolutely fair for his quality of work.  I've hired other contractors and been embarrassed by what I paid vs. the quality, but not Ken and TSS. Ken's experience as a nurse and a professional safety installation shows in the superior quality of his work.  Not only did he tell us exactly what we needed, but after installation he showed my loved one how to use the bars safely and had them practice before he left. Ken's many years experience in nursing and physical therapy is paramount to how he handles grab bar installations. Unless you know where you want them placed, he will be able to show you the most effective location. Don't worry about what's behind the sheetrock, as he has s/s fasteners for every configuration. Ken is great to work with and very professional. You can supply your own grab bars, but it is important to call him first to avoid buying the wrong type bars, for quality and/or dimensional issues.
